Italy for beginners

Hello everyone! Just a short update by mobile phone to let you know we are fine & making good progress. We are in Modena in Emilia Romana. It’s been an easy 1st week -much on the flat, even through the Alps, including a spectacular run from Belzano down the Adige. We had a long but steady climb to Lake Garda where we took a rest day. Then the mountains were gone and we’ve crossed the flat lands to the river Po and here. Our list of favourite towns grows longer daily. Sun is shining! Should mark 6,000km tomorrow!
